Hydrogen: the discussion (2007-2008)

The role hydrogen will play within a future energy system is still uncertain. Its supporters believe it will be largely, not to say universally applicable, whereas its opponents emphasize the limits of this energy carrier.
This project not only examines the technological development of hydrogen but also takes into account the enormous diversity in production and storage, transportation, application and distribution networks. In addition to that, it also considers the social support for it, since there seems to be quite some resistance against the introduction of this new carrier.
